St Michael’s School : new records

After several months, we would like to say that the transcript of the admission records for St Michael’s School, Corner of Butler and Peers St, Kalgoorlie have now been completed.

The school closed in 1975 and the records transferred to St Mary’s Primary School, Kalgoorlie. These records are reproduced with the permission of the St Mary’s School.

This wonderful photo was recently send in by OFH reader Colleen Fraser. The class photo taken c1934 shows her father, Charles Ashe, born in Lithuania 1925 (seated front 2nd from the right). In 1935 he went on to CBC so this photo may be at either St Michael’s in Butler Street or St Marys.
