Our Web Site Re Launch

30/05/2020 By Moya Sharp Leave a Comment

Last year, the Outback Family History web site turned 15 years old. Although still quite youthful in human years, for web sites it was bordering on elderly! (:
So with the wonderful help of Design Sense and Graphic and Web ,who did the original site, we undertook a face lift and this week I would like to invite you to see our ‘New Look’.

www.outbackfamilyhistory.com.au

We have kept all the features you like, but we have updated the look to a more modern format. There are some ‘behind the scenes’ things that will make browsing and finding what interests you easier. Two things which you may not notice straight away:

  1. More mobile friendly
  2. More safe and secure
  3. Faster searching

We have also set up a new way of displaying the cemetery information.  Not all of the cemetery list have yet been upgraded but this page of the Leonora Cemetery will show you the new format:

Leonora Cemetery: A-B

As always, all photos and data on the Outback Family History web site and the blog are free for all to use and it will always remain so.  I promise!!!

Should you find that anything on the site is not working correctly do let me know and it will be fixed directly.

I would like to thank you all for your continued interest and support.♥

Leave a Tip!

If you would like to support my work sharing stories of the Western Australian Goldfields, a small tip – starting at just $2 – would mean a great deal. You’re welcome to give more if you feel inclined.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps me continue researching and preserving these important stories for future generations. Your generosity supports the ongoing costs of running the website. Thank you so much.
