Many years ago the following photographs were sent to a friend of mine who has now passed away. The photographs were among the many she left me. This group of photographs featured here are only identified as “Moorine Station’. There was an email address with the photos but unfortunately it is not current. I am presuming that the photos are taken near Moorine Rock. Can anyone identify the station or the family.
Im sure you will agree that they are amazing images of rural life in probably in the 1930’s!

Hi Moya, I will pass these pictures on to our Yilgarn History Museum (in Southern Cross) to see if anyone there may be able to identify the people for you.
Best wishes Kerry
The photos are of Lillian and Don Ross, my parents. The baby on the bonnet of the old Commer truck is me, Barry Ross. Dad built the mud brick house shown in one of the photos, just after Mum and Dad were married at the Southern Cross Church on the 26th Feb. 1938.
Hi Barry That is great news, do you remember sending copies of the photos to my friend? The Southern Cross Historical Society is not far from Morine Rock and I am sure that they would love to hear from you!
