The company of G R Brown and Co was stated as a ‘Very salubrious Establishment’ as this photo below will show. There seemd to be a great numbert of staff employed there and the building not only occupied the premesis as seen today in the ‘Burt Street Presinct’ but also a double story building to the left which is now sadly no longer there. I think this part would have been next to the beer garden of the Tatts Hotel is now.
The Kalgoorlie Miner of the 24th Decemeber 1907 states:
The business of G R Brown and Co still operates in St, BarrackPerth offering tailoring for ‘vintage’ clothes
