A Heartfelt Thank You
I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to all of my loyal readers who have stood by me over these past few difficult months.
During my illness, there were days when I had scarcely the physical strength to manage the simplest tasks, and at times my mental energy seemed to desert me entirely. It was a frustrating and humbling experience. Yet throughout it all, your quiet loyalty meant more to me than I can properly express.
I was truly amazed that, of our 7,000-plus subscribers, only a tiny handful chose to unsubscribe. That faithfulness touched me deeply. It reminded me that what we share here is more than just stories — it is a community.
Your many messages of kindness, encouragement, and understanding carried me through some very low moments. Each note, each thoughtful word, was a small light when things felt particularly dark.
I still have a little way to go and may need to take some additional time away in June, but I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel — and that is a wonderful feeling.
Please know how very grateful I am for your patience, your support, and your continued companionship on this journey.

How could we abandon such a great author of “old” goldfields articles. Moya, you do an amazing job, which all love and very much appreciate. Hang in there…
Glad to hear you’re recovering Moya. You do a fantastic job of promoting, maintaining and raising awareness of the history of the goldfields. Having been to Kalgoorlie and been disappointed at what little historical information is available, your contribution is greatly appreciated. I know how difficult it is to have to recover from serious illness, so wonderful to hear you are recovering even if not as fast as you would like. Hang in there!
