I lived in the Goldfields in Coolgardie in the 1960’s, in fact was married there. I had two of my children who lived in Coolgardie. I recall a lot of these names, probably knew some of the men when they were older, especially Charlie Duggan. I remember typing an article for him regarding discovering gold. He was off to the University of WA on the Kalgoorlie train and to speak of his ideas. He stated that he knew of the type of tree that always grew around the areas that gold was discovered. Wonderful old people some that I knew, as the population was not so big after awhile, as the mine closed and a lot moved on. Good years also for me as a young woman of 2o years when I first came there to live. Esther Grogan
