<p>Sadly Andy was killed in an accident on Rottnest Island during military training. As you will see he was a Boulder boy.His brother, Domenic &#8216;Dinky&#8217; Dressa, was also a well known sportsman.</p>

<p>The following notices from the Kalgoorlie Miner 8th May 1942 show the great esteem that Andy was held in and the many sporting groups he was a member of.</p>
<p>FUNERAL NOTICES DRESSA.— The friends of the late Private Andrew Mathew (Drea) Dressa, of Rottnest Island, loving son of Mrs. B. Dressa, of 1 Hopkins street, Boulder, loving brother of Private Dinkie Dressa, Melville, loving cousin of Mr. and Mrs. A. Dressa, of Boulder, friend of Mrs. Rocchi, are respect-fully informed that his remains will be removed from his late residence, 1 Hopkins street, Boulder, THIS DAY (Friday), at 4 o&#8217;clock, for the Roman Catholic Church, thence for interment in the Roman Catholic portion of the Boulder Cemetery.
