Pipe-Dream to Pipeline, The Eventful Life of Nathaniel W Harper by Stan Gervas

Many of you will know of the story of the water pipeline which came to the Goldfields bringing fresh water and permanent prosperity and the roll played in the scheme by C Y O’Connor. Many of you will not however know of the roll played by Nathaniel HARPER who it may say have given birth to the whole idea in the firstly place. I will let you decide if you feel that he has not been given his true credit, in my mind he played a much bigger part than is widely know.  The book is now out of print but you should be able to get a copy from your local library.  I would like to know your opinion!!   ISBN:  0-9578622-0-2
