<p>ALDERSON—KELLY &#8211; On the 30th July, at Presbyterian Church, Menzies, Robert ALDERSON J P of Edjudina, son of the late Robert Alderson, Hampstead, England, to Isabel, third daughter of the late William Kelly, of Mintaro. South Australia,  the Rev J. Haynes officiating.</p>
<p>Some additional information has been sent in by OFH reader Denis Edwards:-</p>
<p>Robert Alderson enlisted at Kalgoorlie on the 4 Mar 1915 at Kalgoorlie and was in the 7<sup>th</sup> rein./11<sup>th</sup> batt service no 2338. He served in Gallipoli then France where he was Killed in action on the  25 July 1916 aged 45. He was born in Hampstead England. Isabel died about the 31 July 1917 at Kalgoorlie. No living relatives could be located for either and Robert’s War medals and memorial scroll was not claimed. A brother-in-law of Isabel a Mr Teesdale could not be found. I will look at Roberts Family in the uk. Isobels father William Kelly was from the Isle of Mann he died at Mintaro South Australia 19 June 1874.</p>
