Hi Gwendolyn I think the basic building has changed over the years. Many of the houses in the Lamington area have been re numbered over the years as has my own house. The block used to be much bigger and then were made smaller which messed up the numbering. We are 43 Ward St and next door is 47, there is no 45. I think this is what has happened. I have sent the school photo to the church archivist to see what he thinks. I will let you know.

Thank you Moya. A great article as usual. Now there are two photos of the Ward street school to compare, I am wondering if they are the same building. Also I see that the address is the same, but earlier documents have our house as 56 Ward street then changed to 66.Sorry I can't tell you when this occurred, but is was before the mid 1930s.My grandparents home in Campbell Street had their address changed as well.
