Hi Jennifer

My dad is Leonard John Alford. His grandfather was Thomas Hugh Alford, his father was Ronald Alford (the youngest child) and his uncle was Vic Alford. Dad lived in Coolgardie for most of his young years and has many stories about life in the Goldfields. Dad lives in Perth now and I have helped him research a fair bit into his family.

Thomas Hugh Alford was my great Grandfather. He had a mine share in Burbanks and after finding gold bought a house in Coolgardie. My grandmother Helena May Alford would tell me stories of her upbringing. Vic Alford lived in coolgardie until his death about 20 yrs ago....he lived in parents house and never married. He wouldn't have electricity in the house. My Grandmother had a son called Donald Ruthven who is my deceased father. Any information would be appreciated. Regards Jennifer.
