Hello Moya,
Thankyou for your articles. As someone whose numerous ancestors spent time in the north east goldfields, including Yundamindra, I find them particularly interesting.
I'm sure you're aware of this reference to Charlie Webb?

I'm interested in a family that lived in Woolgah early last century. Vina Thomas married my great grandfather, his second wife. I have come across a couple of newspaper articles about Vina, one being where she was saved from being injured by a calf when she was young and others regarding social events in Woolgah. Was wondering if there is any other data out there on the Thomas family. From memory I think they came from the eastern states to follow the gold trail.

I am looking for more information on my Grand Uncle, Daniel Behan who died in a mining accident at Sir Samuel, Western Australia on 2 March 1903. I would like to know when he arrived from Ireland and if he had a family and where he lived. Any other information would be much apricated.
Thanks, Terry Behan, Brisbane, Australia

HI Moya,
My family attended this church. My mother, after it came from Boulder belonged to a group the church children who placed threepence on each of the stumps where the church was to sit as an offering for the project. Mum told us it originally belonged to the Baptist people in Boulder It has been on the GNP site since then. My Mother wrote the book: Gnowangerup the town, My story.
I'm sure my family would be very disappointed to see this heritage building destroyed.
