Hi John Yes indeed it could be your Grandmother. There were not a lot of women in the town at the time so the likelihood is that you are correct. Its not a name I have come across before, Syers, I mean. There was a family by the name of Sayers in the town at the time also. I wonder if the names got mixed up.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I think the Miss Dwyer mentioned above at the first Coolgardie Wedding as a bridesmaid is my Grandmother Nora Dwyer.  She later in 1901 married John Drinkwater Syers in Coolgardie.  He was a Post Office employee and was mentioned in the Coolgardie Convent records in 1903 as being the father of a 3 y.o. son also named John Syers.]]></description>
