					<description><![CDATA[As the son of a gold miner in South Africa playing on &#038; around the slime dumps and crushed rock dumps was a common activity for us during the 1950’s -60’s. Injuries occurred but fortunately no deaths amongst my mates. When in hospital as an 8 year old (tonsill op) I was next to a youngster who had been climbing a local coal mine dump and broken through the crust resulting in serious burns to his legs. Such was life when kids had freedom to roam and explore.]]></description>
