As a young kid i attended a live Slim Dusty show in the hall, as well, many football wind-ups, big brother Red Kennedy had his wedding reception their ( circa 1961 ) it was the social centre of Southern Cross & the greater Yilgarn district;
The old town & it’s people should be very proud that it still stands today as a tribute to our early pioneers & exceptional people;
